	Welcome Sunday Worship Current Events Sacraments
		Welcome to Westchester United Methodist Church, "Celebrating and Sharing God's love in Jesus Christ!"We give thanks to God for your presence with us and hope that you will feel at home. Sunday Morning English Language Worship, at 10:00 a.m.in the Sanctuary, includes the pageantry of traditional Christian Worship. (Click here for a " tickler " for this Sunday's service.) The service features the inspirational and joyous sounds of the Wesleyan and Handbell Choirs. Sunday Afternoon Fijian Language Worship , at 12:00 noon in the Chapel, celebrating Jesus Christ in the Fijian language, with singing and scripture and Spirit filled sermons. Worship is a priority at Westchester UMC. Through prayer and preaching, song and sacrament, we reaffirm our belonging to God and our care for one another and for the world. Our Senior Pastor, Rev. Amy Yoon, approaches worship as she does all matters of faith - with an open mind and open heart. Mr. Inoke Raikadroka leads the Fijian Ministry with passion and love, expressing the call of Christ to all to become His Disciples. The Sacraments of Communion and Baptism are celebrated regularly, with Communion on the first Sunday of each month, and Baptism at any time, by arrangement with the Pastor. The United Methodist Church recognizes baptisms appropriate for adults and children of all ages, and celebrates an "open table" for communion - there is no requirement of membership or creed for those who desire to participate.
